We are thrilled to share that we’ve made the shortlist for no less than 5 of the trade’s highest accolades at the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards 2024! It’s an honour that agents and agencies from across the UK and Ireland eagerly aspire to. This prestigious event, one of the industry’s biggest celebration of agents, will take place at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel on Thursday, 11 July 2024, in association with headline sponsor, Celestyal.
The shortlists are brimming with talent, featuring agencies nominated by over 100 suppliers, including tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, tourist boards, and ancillary companies. It’s inspiring to see such a diverse group of nominees, from individuals in established companies and innovative start-up agencies to those who have shown exceptional commitment to sustainability, staff wellbeing, and development.
Being recognised alongside such esteemed professionals is a true honour, and we’re looking forward to celebrating everyone’s collective achievements at this incredible event.
The Travel Village Group were shortlisted for 4 awards (and won an additional special award for Mental Health) in 2023, so it’s amazing to be recognised for even more in 2024.

Cruise Agency of the Year – Large – Southampton Cruise Centre is our mainstream cruise brand, and is recognised as one of the best cruise agencies in the UK & Ireland. We are so proud!
Leisure Agent of the Year – Well done to Kelly Taylor! Kelly is one of our Holiday Village business owners, working under the banner of “Taylor Made Travel”.
Leisure Manager of the Year – Congratulations Carolyn Markey! In addition to our retail store Travel Village being shortlisted, Carolyn has also been recognised for her management of the day-to-day running of the shop, staff and local events.
Agency Support Team Member of the Year – Huge plaudits for Susan Forsdike, who has made the shortlist for the second year running, recognising the work she does behind the scenes to support our frontline agents and business owners.
