Travel Village Group shortlisted for 7 awards at 2026 Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards

Travel Village Group is celebrating another outstanding year of industry recognition after being shortlisted in seven categories at the prestigious Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards 2026.

The nominations span every corner of the business, recognising excellence across retail, cruise, homeworking and individual achievement, while also highlighting Travel Village Group’s continued commitment to customer service, innovation and staff development.

Among the shortlist is a surprise nomination for Agency Branch of the Year, awarded to The Travel Village in Blackpool.

Unlike many categories, Agency Branch of the Year is not entered directly by agencies, making the recognition particularly significant.

The full shortlist includes:

  • Northern England Large Agency of the Year – The Travel Village
  • Agency Branch of the Year – The Travel Village
  • Cruise Agency of the Year (Large) – Southampton Cruise Centre
  • Homeworking Agency of the Year (Medium) – The Holiday Village
  • High Street Leisure Agent of the Year – Becky Hawker
  • Homebased Leisure Agent of the Year – Wendy Haines
  • Best Agency to Work For (Large) – Travel Village Group

The nominations follow another strong year for the group, which recently celebrated success at the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies awards, where The Travel Village was named North West Retail Agency of the Year and The Holiday Village was crowned Homeworking Agency of the Year.

Recognition Across the Entire Business

For Travel Village Group CEO Phil Nuttall, the breadth of the shortlist reflects the strength of the people behind the business.

“To be recognised across so many categories is incredibly rewarding because it reflects every part of our business and the people who make it what it is.

We’re particularly proud to see individual recognition for Becky and Wendy, who both consistently go above and beyond for their customers, while the Agency Branch of the Year nomination for our Blackpool team was a fantastic surprise.

These awards recognise excellence, innovation and customer service, which are values that have been at the heart of our family business since 1959.”

Wendy Haines, shortlisted for Homebased Leisure Agent of the Year at the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards 2026 said:
“To be one of only six finalists across the whole of the UK and Ireland is absolutely bonkers. When you look at the calibre of agents and businesses across the industry, just making the shortlist feels like a huge achievement in itself.

I’m off to London next month with a new frock for the final and, whatever happens, being recognised as a finalist is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Thank you to my amazing team and everyone who supports me and my business. This recognition belongs to all of us.”

Celebrating Excellence

The Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards are among the most respected accolades in the UK travel industry, recognising the agencies, teams and individuals setting the benchmark for excellence. The winners will be announced at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel on 9th July 2026, with Travel Village Group hoping to build on an already successful awards season.
