We are thrilled to share that Emma Andrews from The Holiday Village has been shortlisted for Sustainability Champion of the Year at the prestigious 2025 Aspire Awards.
After finding out about being shortlisted for the award, Emma had this to say:

“I honestly feel so honoured to be shortlisted for this award. For me, sustainability has never been about following a trend, it’s about responsibility. Over the last few years, I’ve felt a real pull to look at how I work, to ask questions, to learn, and to make changes that actually make a difference.”

“That meant all sorts of things such as giving talks in my local community about how to travel more responsibly, creating guides for my clients so they can make better choices, working with suppliers to keep sustainability at the forefront, and even looking at my own travel and everyday habits and changing those too. None of it’s perfect, but I’ve always tried to live by my values and put them into practice every day.”

Organised by Aspire, the luxury travel trade’s leading magazine, the awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of individuals and companies across the high-end travel sector. This year’s ceremony will once again take place at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

The Aspire Awards shine a spotlight on the very best in luxury travel – recognising inspiring brands, passionate trade teams and innovative agents who are driving the industry forward. For Emma to be recognised as a finalist is a fantastic achievement, and we are delighted that her commitment to sustainability is being celebrated on such a prestigious stage.

Emma also commented saying:

“One thing I’ve always wanted to show is that luxury travel and sustainability don’t have to be opposites, it is absolutely possible to enjoy incredible experiences while still being thoughtful, responsible, and kind to the planet.”

“To have that recognised is honestly surreal and really humbling. When I first started in travel, I never thought I’d one day be up for awards for something I feel this passionate about, and something I truly believe is so important for the future of our industry.”

We want to say a huge well done to Emma and we have everything crossed for the ceremony in November!
