Carnival UK Cruise Awards is an annual event that recognises and celebrates excellence in the travel trade, for those that support the cruise industry. The awards are hosted by Carnival UK, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & PLC, which is one of the largest global cruise companies.
The awards ceremony, in January 2023 held at Madame Tussauds, London, is a highly anticipated event in the cruise industry, as it recognises and honours the best of the best for each Carnival UK brand. The brands are Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Seabourn.
Over the years, the Carnival UK Cruise Awards have become a respected and coveted recognition in the industry, with many agencies striving to win one or more awards. The awards ceremony is attended by leading industry figures, media representatives, and travel agents, making it a high-profile event in the travel awards world. TV presenter, Mark Durden-Smith presided over the events where each brand announced winners and agencies that were highly commended for their “partnership achievement” or “outstanding contribution”.
Accepting the Partnership Achievement Award from P&O Cruises for the Travel Village Group was Group CEO, Phil Nuttall, and Group M.D. John Warr. Phil had this to say:
