We’re thrilled to share that our very own Emma Andrews, a dedicated Holiday Village business owner, has been recognised as an expert in sustainable travel! Emma was selected by TTG Media to join the esteemed TTG Sustainable Travel Ambassadors program for 2024, marking her as one of only 20 travel agents (in 2024) to be part of this impactful initiative.
Through this six-month program, Emma engaged in comprehensive workshops covering vital sustainability topics, from understanding carbon emissions to identifying eco-conscious suppliers, minimising travellers’ negative impacts, and encouraging positive practices like community-based tourism. Each session was designed to empower her with actionable insights and strategies, and she has embraced the learning with enthusiasm and commitment.
Emma’s journey included hands-on assignments, enriching familiarisation trips focused on sustainability, and practical marketing tools to help her guide clients toward more eco-friendly travel choices. She is now ready to use her expertise to create meaningful travel experiences that align with the Travel Village Group’s commitment to a more sustainable future in tourism.

I was so honoured to be selected for this programme and I have thoroughly enjoyed the training and sustainable travel experiences I have had. Sustainable travel is hugely important to me, and I am keen to support my customers and fellow travellers to make conscious choices that ultimately benefit the destinations they visit without compromising their overall holiday experience – in fact some of the most exciting and rewarding experiences are because they are more sustainable.
Emma’s training was supported by some of the industry’s leaders in sustainable travel, including AE Expeditions, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, Intrepid, and TTC Tour Brands, alongside Greece as a destination partner. We’re proud to celebrate Emma’s achievement and look forward to seeing her lead the way in sustainable travel for her clients and sharing her knowledge with the wider team at Travel Village Group. Congratulations, Emma!
