Travel Village Group Commercial Manager, Richard Cross, recently had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Aston Martin Track Experience, courtesy of our luxury cruise partner Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Richard joined a select group of VIP travel partners at the Stowe Circuit within the world-famous Silverstone complex in Northamptonshire, home of the British Grand Prix for more than 70 years. After a detailed safety briefing, he was paired with his instructor, Toru, who guided him through an adrenaline-fuelled morning on the track.
Following a few warm-up laps as a passenger, Richard climbed behind the wheel to drive an Aston Martin Vantage and DBX707, experiencing first-hand the precision handling and raw power that define the brand. The session finished with a thrilling ‘hot lap’ driven by Toru, reaching speeds of over 125mph – definitely not for the faint-hearted!
After lunch, the group enjoyed an exclusive VIP tour of Aston Martin Lagonda’s Stowe Research & Development Facility, gaining rare insight into how Aston Martin’s race cars are crafted – from cutting-edge materials to intricate electronics.
